Ceremony
Daydream Island boasts a variety of romantic wedding locations for your ceremony, ranging from private, intimate settings to larger settings catering for more than 100 people.
One of the most popular ceremony venues is the Endeavour Wedding Chapel, spectacularly located at the water’s edge. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer panoramic views of the Whitsunday Passage. The chapel also boasts red carpet down the aisle, a built-in sound system and webcam technology to stream the ceremony over the internet.
Another popular ceremony and reception venue is the romantic Lovers Cove, a private sheltered inlet featuring a large deck and white coral beach. Exchange vows as the sun sets and the waves lap at the shore. Decorated with flaming bamboo torches, paper lanterns and tea lights, Lover’s Cove makes for a truly memorable wedding location.
Or if it’s a beach wedding you are looking for, Mermaids Beach can offer an unforgettable setting overlooking the famous Daydream Mermaids and stunning Whitsunday Passage.
Reception
Daydream Island boasts six different locations for your wedding reception providing a variety of venues to celebrate your big day.
If you are after an outdoor wedding reception, Lovers Cove can offer a totally unforgettable private setting overlooking the Whitsunday passage. Equally, Mermaid’s Beach is an idyllic location, as is Sunlover's Lookout and South End Cinema, which provide elevated and expansive views of the surrounding blue seas and Whitsunday Islands.
Alternatively, Sunlover's Terrace and Spa Balcony offers the perfect indoor/outdoor wedding venue, or there are the Daydream Island or Great Barrier Rooms, which are Daydream's premier indoor locations.
