Dawid & Ewa. Airlie Beach wedding. Boathaven Beach.
It was raining nearly the whole day.
I took three umbrellas just in case, but we used them only for fun and for suspicious 5 minutes drizzle.
The sky was overcast and guaranteed the best soft light for the photography and non sweating bodies. At this time of the year we couldn't wish more.
The Boathaven Beach is one of my favourite spots for wedding photography, because you have it all here: ocean, rocks, sand, palms, greens and no people.
It's the best beach in town too. Dawid and Ewa were so happy that it stopped raining and it added more shine to their wedding story.
After the short ceremony we went in a palms first, because the sun was dropping down and it wouldn't be wise to leave the shady photography spot to the end. Moreover, Ewa said that she loves greens more than seas, cause she always gets sea sick when she is on the boat. The beach sands were solid for her and it helped a lot...
What a nice light! I used 70-200mm lens for this shot. We went slowly to the sea side from the greens and did a couple of "wedding ring" shots.
They booked me for two hours and I edited 220 photographs, which I put on a USB for them. I've taken nearly 1000 RAW files pictures during our work, that's how it goes.
It took a time to pick up this 220 photographs and edit them. Here you can see a little bit, but I think they reflect the spirit of the wedding day. Enjoy.
