You fight it at first and you make mistakes, because you have never danced these steps before… You laugh and cry and finally give into it with all of your senses… steps don’t matter anymore… 

You crave a cucumber… this desire is grasping you by your very soul and you can’t fight it… You send him to go and get it for you even if it means he has to drive for days in order to get it… And when your husband finally gets home with a bunch of them, after going to several stores, because they were out of them in 3 out 4 that he drove to… You look at him with an innocent smile of yours and tell him “I can’t even look at the cucumber right now, I want oranges!.. a lot of them!!..” 

You now have the power to do all the crazy things you ever wanted to do… anything! 

“Just go for it, girl! Show ‘em, who’s the boss around here!…” (The voice in your head proudly yells to you) 

Yes… you can be as mean or as outrageous as you want… you know that you can get away with anything.. yes.. even murder… (well… maybe) ... Just because you are pregnant!

Pregnancy is not only the physical feeling or change… Pregnancy changes your soul… Your soul gets wrapped up in a rainbow of endless colors and shades and when you look at yourself in the mirror, it will show you something that wasn’t there before … You can see yourself blossom and glow from within… You can never mistake this glow with anything else… 

Your soul will have a chance now to truly feel unconditional love with all of your being, like you never felt before… 

You already love this little fragile life inside of you with all of your heart and you are always trying to be very careful to not bump into anything and you are so much more aware of everything around you, but somehow you know deep inside, that everything will be ok, if you dive into the pool, while holding your breath underwater…

This otherworldly feeling, pride for creating another life and knowledge, that this life will forever be part of you makes you invincible…

Your only wish now is to freeze these feelings in time, to remember every tear of joy and to capture this extraordinary dance with photographs…
